4 AUGUST 2008

I have given up my dummy! It has been a week and, although I have fondly mentioned my dummy a few times, I have not asked Mummy or Daddy for it back. You see, what happened was, I was playing with it and Mum said I'd lose it if I didn't put it back on my bed. I lost it. So when sleeptime came that night, Mum said she'd give me a Wiggles present if I slept without it, so I did. I got a brand new Wiggles DVD! Then at lunchtime I slept without it again, and I was allowed to watch the Wiggles again.. twice in one day! I now ask to watch the Wiggles everytime I wake up. It worked for a while, but Mummy is getting a bit stricter now. She's also getting sick of me waking up at 4 and 5 am and not going back to sleep.

I continue to do my Quack Quack Cock-a-doodle-do dance. For those of you who don't know it, it is a Wiggles dance. You walk around and around in circles flapping like a chicken then pretending to be a rooster. It's become so infamous at childcare that it's now a group activity with all the girls and the kids in my room.

Nanny and Aunty Shaa are here looking after me, Mummy and Sam while Daddy is at the Olympics. I have had lots of babychinos and chocolate!

That is all the news for today.

Hello and welcome to Sam's Sport. I'm Sam Brown.

I still have my dummy. I like to pull it out of my mouth with my hand.

I am getting very good at tummy time.. Aunty Kym would be very proud of me! I can hold my head up and look around, but not for long.. it's a pretty big scone!
