[31 JULY 2009] Hello and welcome to Ned’s News. I’m Ned Brown.
My musical repertoire continues to grow. I really like New Order. And yesterday I sang the entire 30 minute drive home. For half the trip, I sang the Bob the Builder song..or as Mummy says.. YELLED the Bob the Builder song. But then I turned into Neddie Valli and sang “Sherrrrrry Sherry Baby Sherrry Sherry Babby, Ssssshhheerrrrrryy Bayyyyayyyybeeee” for the rest of the trip.

I have also committed a new book to memory. Green Eggs and Ham. I like to read it every night. Sometimes I am “Sam I Am” and Mum or Dad is the grumpy old man. Other times we switch roles. But Mum and Dad need to book to help them. They don’t know it off by heart like me. Sam.. that’s my little brother, not Sam-I-Am, likes books today. Today I sat down and read Hairy Maclary to him. Then he asked me to read the Wiggles counting book. Mummy is really encouraging this brotherly interaction.

On a more sporting note, I’ve learnt how to do somersaults. So now I’m an all performing superstar.

I have also discovered a new movie, Monsters Inc. (Toy Story is still my favourite though). But Sulley, Mike and Boo have sparked a fascination with monsters. I love to run around the house screaming like a banshee saying monsters are chasing me. A monster also chases our car all the way to childcare.. all 30 minutes of the way.. with me yelling ‘quick the monster’s coming’ aaaallllllll the way.

That is all the news for today.

Hello and welcome to Sam’s Sport. I’m Sam Brown.

I have indeed developed a love affair with books. As well as shuffling up to Mummy or Daddy saying “boo boo”, I take myself off to my room and pull every book off my shelf and read it aloud to myself. I especially love opening up the Scarface Claw page and going “sskkkkkkhhhhhhh”.

But the biggest news that I’ve learnt to ride my car. Mummy took Ned outside to ride his trike along the driveway and just put me on the car cos she didn’t know what to do with me, and I pushed off and was on my way! Mummy was so excited... until she brought me back inside and I kept crashing my car into the wall and screaming in frustration, forcing her to drop everything and come and correct me... EVERY FIVE SECONDS. She’d just taught me how to fix the problem myself while I was pushing the car while shuffling behind it on my knees.

Mummy bought me new shoes. One has 50% Good with a picture of an angel on it. The other says 50% Bad and a devil on it. Guess which one keeps falling off and which one fits snugly. Mummy is very worried that it’s an omen for the future, especially with my displays of temper whenever I crash into the wall with my car.

That is all the news for today.

SORRY the BLOG Links below are not in Order, my brother is slack and has not fixed it.

Over the past two days, I have:
1. Stunned Mummy and Daddy by copying the Wiggles dance moves in perfect timing in one song and knowing half the moves in another

2. Waited to Mummy left the room, jumped up and grabbed a pen then grabbed a photo of her when she was 5 years old and scribbled all over it
3. Grown a top molar. I have about 4 top teeth almost poking through but decided to skip ahead and grow my molar first.
4. Pulled myself up on the furniture for the first time. Yeah, I know I'm a little late, but I'm getting there! Don't push me, I'm a redhead.. I can EXPLODE!

5. Started giving my Mummy very long, very cuddly hugs.

6. Enrolled in swimming lessons.

And in sport - I love throwing my ball.

That is all the news for today.

Hello and welcome to Ned's News. I'm Ned Brown.

In breaking news, my molar continues to push through and one top tooth has jussssttt made it through. The others continue to cause me grief. So I refused to eat any tea last night and made Mummy cranky by disagreeing with her over breakfast this morning.

I have also learnt the actions to another Wiggles song and have nearly nailed Incy Wincy Spider.

That is all the news for today.
